"Maddie"

Maddie is the pup we kept from our litter with Bella.  She was the first of 9 puppies to be born and mom had her on her own while I was in the living room on a conference call.  Maddie was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at her first dog show for a 4 point major at just 6 months old.  She has had limited showing because of the shut down and slow increase in dogs shows due to COVID 19.  As a smaller girl, Maddie earns a lot of reserve winners  but not so many points at dog shows.  Champion or not, we are hoping she will become  a mother for us some day to pass on her sweet, sweet spirit. 


Maddie has passed her Hunt Instinct Test plus 1 leg toward her Junior Hunter title and we hope to continue hunting her this next winter.  


Maddie is a super sweet girl...she loves to hunt and chase squirrels in the yard but also believes she belongs on our laps at night for belly rubs.  She also sleeps in bed with us every night.


Maddie has had her POAG (glaucoma) test and is CLEAR for the genes causing POAG.
